Welcome to the AITP Student Chapter at FSU!
We are glad you took a moment to stop by our webpage! On this website you will find information pertaining to: who we are, activities (past and upcoming), and membership info (current members, why join). AITP-FSU exists to serve you (students within the College of Communication & Information). Our membership is open to all FSU students.
We have four primary goals:
- Provide professional events for members (guest speaker series, mentorship events, career days, internship opportunities, company tours)
- Facilitate links between FSU and the local technology community (through TalTech Alliance and other local professional groups such as Refresh Tallahassee and the Tallahassee SQL Server User Group(TSSUG))
- Provide venues for social collaboration for students (Game Days, Bowling, Picnics, Pizza Nights)
- Provide opportunities for leadership for students (executive board, leadership roles, outreach to schools)
